The devs are aware of the glitched trophies for this game, and are currently working on them. You will visit dungeons, and pick up the loot the enemies drop, bring it back to your shop and sell it or use the materials to craft weapons or armor to help in dungeons to progress further along to gain more loot. This game has a feel of the old school Zelda to it. You own a shop in Rynoka village called Moonlighter that you obtained from your late Grandfather. You play as Will, a merchant by day and adventurer by night.
Since fall damage is only 25HP (unless you are wearing the shield amulet which you can take off before jumping to sidestep the 20% loss of HP effect and then put back on) it's not a noticable effect when your HP is 1000 or so. IIRC, it eliminates fall damage and reduces health a bit. The design is nice and who doesn't like a Cat's Eye but the effect is not (at least at this point in the game) useful. Again not sure if its going to be exclusive to NG+.Īnother amulet, a Cat's Eye amulet, IIRC. Its likely going to come in with the familiar system though.
IF they expanded the crafting list or added new craftables, these items begin to have more value and add to more playtime exploring the various levels to craft everything. I actually see a lot of potential in NG+, as there are alot of "useless" dungeon loot thats nothing more than peddlewares. Would make the second playthrough possibly more fun when you try to buff rush the boss with suboptimal equipment. Things like an atk up duration potion, or a defence buff potion, speed potion, etc. Just wish there would be more modifiers to aid with dungeon crawls. Not sure if they will give amulets additional abilities (which implies more needs to button map), but if they do, they have free buttons under Will control that could help. Hopefully theres more variety to the amulets though. Might be worse if you get trapped in the autolock room with the miniboss while trying to speedrun the dungeon, but hopefully its balanced by rewarding you with better loot when it dies.Īmulets are a fun deal though, its nice to get extra boosts in the second playthrough. Not sure if its exclusive to NG+ or not, but its likely going to get harder. Im expecting NG+ to get harder once the development roadmap hits the mini-boss phase.
